NOT A FAN - matt cappotelli
As you´ve read through some of the stories on the website, I´m sure you´ve noticed what I have consistently observed in talking with fans who have become followers. Something happens in their lives that awakens them to a deeper relationship with Jesus. Most often it´s a tragedy, a heartbreak, or some kind of intense challenge. Through the pain and uncertainty the person realizes it´s not enough to be a fan of Jesus. While they had held Jesus at arms length, now they wrap both arms around him and refuse to let to. The Bible says in Proverbs 20:30 (GN) Sometimes it takes a painful experience to make us change our ways. And sometimes it does. I´m not saying God is causing whatever challenge you may be facing, or difficulty you may be experiencing; but I am saying that God can use that to accomplish His ultimate purpose for your life.

I want to introduce you to a friend of mine named Matt Cappotelli. When I methim he was a professional wrestler, and the heavyweight champion. I had the opportunity to baptize him and have watched him be a completely committed follower as he has experienced incredible hardship and difficulty.
